About the event

Cancer disrupts your relationship with your body. To live your best life, your relationship with your body needs to be a priority. Learning to love yourself from the inside out practices the art of acceptance, the art of listening, and the art of self care. In this art therapy workshop, we'll use art to start healing your connection to your body at the cellular level, and practice sending a little love to the vessel that keeps us moving. No artistic talent necessary to benefit from this practice, just bring some basic art supplies and Stephanie will guide you through the process.

Supplies needed: Blank paper, a larger bowl if you wish to draw a mandala, simple art tools- markers, colored pencils, and if you want to practice blending chalk or oil pastels.

Cost: Free, and donations are greatly appreciated!

Donate to our programs and offerings here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=YRGWF72WZ2ZPW

A zoom meeting ID and password will be emailed to you after you complete the registration.

Stephanie McLeod-Estevez, LCPC is an art therapist and breast cancer survivor/thriver. At 26, Stephanie McLeod-Estevez was her mom's caregiver as she died of metastatic breast cancer, motivating her to become an art therapist. Then, at 40, when her own sons were 5 and 7, Stephanie herself was diagnosed with Stage 3a Triple Negative breast cancer (TNBC). Now Stephanie runs Creative Transformations, where she blends her lived experience and professional expertise, to enhance the health and wellness of the cancer community. Through social media, online workshops, and her virtual Art Therapy for Breast Cancer community, Stephanie delivers the information, tools, and mentorship you need to thrive.
